And, I don't know if this has any bearing on the matter or not, but when I did the USB Preferences on the tablet to switch what the USB was for to File Transfer, I tried to switch the USB Controlled By from "This Device" (the tablet) to "Connected Device" but kept getting "Couldn't Switch" about half a dozen times.
